Bridesmaid dresses are almost always less expensive, more informal, and able to be worn many times again

Simpler and less expensive, yet elegant wedding dresses are more appropriate
Shoes are optional!
Don't have to invite co-workers or your mom's neighbor from when she was 10, just the people YOU really care about.
Wedding planners, musicians and photographers are usually less expensive, and I had my negatives, video and photo album waiting for me at the airport at the end of my honeymoon. I could make all the pharmacy 8x10s I wanted at CVS prices. Most brides hit their one year anniversary before they get their wedding album!
